Hi, welcome to my website. This incarnation of liedra.net is one of many, and is an attempt at keeping all my information in an easy to access form for all you guys out there. My email address should be self-evident (domain at domain name).

About me

I’m an academic working in the field of computer ethics. I am currently working at Middlesex University in London as a philosopher on a project on development of technology for online child protection.

I like to spin my own yarn, then knit with it. I also like playing roleplay games, both pen&paper (D&D) and computer games, and board games. I particularly like the Final Fantasy series, Phantasy Star series, Knights of the Old Republic, and other similar games. I have a weakness for tower defense and strategy games as well, and also enjoy bizarre games like Katamari Damacy. Board games I enjoy include many of the “Cheapass Games” range, Steve Jackson games (Munchkin & Illuminati), Settlers of Catan, Puerto Rico, Acquire, and Arkham Horror to name a few. I also like to cook. I like lots of obscure animals, and have kept pet snakes, giant burrowing cockroaches, and stick insects to name a few.
